Lisbon in Three Days: Hills, Trams, and Long Lunches

A walkable Lisbon plan that trades checklist tourism for viewpoints, neighborhoods, and unhurried meals.

Lisbon is steep, sunny, and best enjoyed slowly. Three days is enough if you stop trying to see every miradouro.

Day plan

  • Day 1: Alfama lanes + tram 28 for atmosphere, not as a full itinerary.
  • Day 2: Belém for pastéis and the waterfront, then a long lunch.
  • Day 3: LX Factory morning, sunset from a quieter viewpoint.
Wear shoes with grip. Cobblestones punish fashion sneakers after hour two.
